Except when I woke up this morning at 5:55, in true 2020 fashion I should add, it was raining!

This year was just too much and I’m ready to bid it farewell. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I’m ready to face it head on. Who’s with me?!

P.S: there’s some Farewell 2020 musings now up on the blog. Check them out! [Link in Bio]

P.P.S: whatever you do to ring in the New Year, be responsible, be safe and be well.

Hot, sweaty and muddy after trekking through the l Hot, sweaty and muddy after trekking through the lush vegetation that is Spring Garden, St. Andrew. And no, that’s not grey hair; it’s sunscreen!

After appearing on @reneescentsationz Self Care Sundays IG Live series, Marcella threw out the idea to me about attending her Day of Wellness event. Now, these things aren’t my usual flex, but I’ve been actively trying to step out of my comfort zone more often.

The event, held at Cabin Ital, was hosted by Renee Scentscentationz in collaboration with @grenadaital and included meditation and a little yoga, a nature walk to visit fresh and mineral water springs, a vision board session with @edawncoach, a herbal smoke cleansing presentation from @shodhana_naturals, and mindfulness with @anasiwellandgood . We were also treated with butterfly pea blue tea, delicious green smoothies and ital (vegan) oil down!

I know sometimes it gets hectic and you feel like there isn’t enough time to do all the things, but it’s important to take a few moments for yourself. Your mind and body will thank you!
